ESS manages all aspects of large-scale accommodation facilities, or “villages” for remote workers, providing the essential comforts from a hot meal, a clean bed, freshly laundered workwear, to health and wellness facilities for those working away from home.

Are you looking for a new opportunity to enhance your skills and creativity as a cook? We are looking for FIFO (Fly-In Fly-Out) cooks to join our exceptional culinary teams in Western Australia. If you thrive under high-pressure environments and enjoy developing mouth-watering dishes, this is the role for you!

The Position

  • Prepare and cook a diverse range of dishes to high standards, considering dietary requirements and guest preferences.
  • Maintain a clean and organised kitchen workspace, following food safety and hygiene protocols.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely service during peak hours.
  • Adapt to different environments and kitchens while consistently delivering exceptional culinary experiences.

The Person

  • Experience working in a high volume, fast paced, buffet-style kitchen.
  • FIFO or remote site kitchen experience desirable
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and culinary techniques is essential
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
  • Can demonstrate adaptability and resilience
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening and national police clearance
  • Flexibility to work on a FIFO roster
