Pizza Pasta Co. (DANNOUN GROUP PTY LTD)

Pizza Pasta Co. is a famous restaurant located in Georges Hall NSW 2198. We operate seven days a week offering Lunch and dinner. The restaurant is an Italian cuisine and provides a wide variety of dishes and family oriented atmosphere for our customers.

We are seeking a full time Cook who will be able to work independently or as a part of a team, reliable and will be rewarded with a great salary also a friendly and supportive work environment.

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Manage the preparation and cooking of meals.
  • Produce well-presented seasonal meals using fresh ingredients where possible.
  • Assist in the ongoing menu development.
  • Manage portion control and food wastage on a daily basis.
  • Ordering and purchasing stock
  • Ensure all dietary requirements for customers are met.
  • Train other kitchen staff members on appropriate food presentation and preparation techniques
  • Ongoing training to new and current staff in ensuring sales are always captured.
  • Comply with Food safety program and procedures.
  • Comply with any relevant legislation covering food safety.

Requirements/Skills Qualification:

  • Relevant Qualification
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work within a pressurised environment and maintain attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills
  • Leadership Skills
