Kuranga is looking for experienced Front of House team members to join our established café at our beautiful Mount Evelyn location.

For over 40 years, Kuranga has been inspiring visitors through Australian native plants, beautiful spaces and genuine hospitality. Our café is an important part of that experience, offering quality coffee, fresh food and warm, authentic service in a unique environment surrounded by Australian native gardens.

About the Role

As a Front of House team member, you'll play a key role in creating a welcoming and memorable experience for every guest.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Providing warm, attentive and genuine table service
• Greeting and seating guests and helping manage the flow of the café
• Taking orders accurately and confidently
• Running food and beverages efficiently
• Clearing, resetting and maintaining tables throughout service
• Communicating effectively with our kitchen, coffee and wider FOH teams
• Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming dining environment
• Staying calm, organised and guest-focused during busy service periods

We're Looking For

• Previous Front of House experience in a busy café or restaurant environment
• Confident and professional customer service skills
• Strong communication and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed
• Reliable, professional and well-presented
• Ability to remain calm, efficient and organised during high-volume service
• Confidence managing multiple tables and priorities during busy periods
• Full availability on BOTH Saturday and Sunday every week is essential

Please note: This role requires regular availability across both weekend days. Applicants who are only available either Saturday or Sunday will not be suitable for this position as both days are required.
