About the Role
As a Mental Health Clinician with the headspace Outreach program you will:
- Undertake comprehensive psychosocial assessments, including exploration of presenting issues, client history, risk, protective factors, and contributing influences
- Work collaboratively with young people to develop person-centred, feedback-informed case formulations and treatment plans in line with SEWB principles
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to young people experiencing mental ill-health
- Actively engage in Evidence‑Informed Practice and Family Inclusive Practice
- Deliver mental health services that are adapted to meet the needs of local communities including First Nations and CALD communities

Essential Qualifications
To be eligible, you must meet the following:
- Possession of tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work or other allied health discipline recognised by the tertiary mental health services sector.
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA) or current full membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
- Demonstrated experience and advanced level clinical skills in a range of mental health service settings.
- Experience working with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people and communities and the provision of culturally safe services.
- Knowledge and experience in the assessment and delivery of a range of treatments relevant for people with a mental illness (e.g. CBT, ACT, or IPT).
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills and the ability to tailor work with a diverse range of people.
- Ability to travel (car provided)
