This is a newly created position within our growing Corporate Affairs team.

Working closely with colleagues across Australia, you'll play a key role in creating engaging content, supporting employee events and bringing important business updates, safety messages and company initiatives to life. • Support employee engagement initiatives, including staff briefings, executive livestreams, recognition programs, service anniversary events and organisational updates.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of communication campaigns for business projects, safety initiatives, sponsorships and community investment activities.
  • Partner with teams across the business to identify opportunities to engage, inform and connect employees.
  • Provide support across Corporate Affairs activities, including media monitoring, asset management, media and government relations, and brand and marketing initiatives.

About You

You're a creative communicator who enjoys building relationships and delivering content that informs, engages and inspires employees. You're organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple priorities while delivering high-quality work

You'll also bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of two years' experience in corporate affairs, communications, public relations or a similar role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences.
  • Experience working with digital communication platforms, intranet systems or content management tools.

Why ATCO?

At ATCO, you'll be part of a supportive and collaborative team that values innovation, connection and continuous improvement. You'll have the opportunity to help shape how we communicate with and engage our employees while contributing to initiatives that support our culture, safety and business success.

If you're passionate about communication, employee engagement and creating meaningful connections across an organisation, we'd love to hear from you.

As part of your application, please include a cover letter outlining your interest in the role and a communication or engagement initiative you've supported.
