About us
At PwC Australia good change work starts with genuine curiosity — about how people experience their work, what gets in their way, and what it takes to bring them along. As a Change Manager Professional at PwC, you'll bring your experience in change strategy, communications, and capability building to support the firm's AI-enabled transformation. You'll partner with leaders and teams to design people-first change that helps new tools and ways of working land well and stick.
Why PwC?
At PwC Australia, your skills meet purpose. We tackle big challenges across industries like finance, technology, energy, and health —giving you the chance to make a real impact. Here, your growth is our priority. You’ll work with leading teams, explore new technologies, and unlock your full potential.
Join a global community of more than 370,000 people who value bold ideas, collaboration, and lasting change. Together, we’re building trust and shaping the future.
What you'll do:
-
Develop and deliver change strategies for transformation programs, with a focus on people experience and adoption.
-
Execute change activities across workstreams, including stakeholder engagement, communications, training, and adoption support.
-
Translate program objectives into clear, actionable change plans that align to business priorities.
-
Develop and deliver people engagement and training materials and sessions that build capability across impacted teams.
-
Develop and deliver project communications plans that are clear, concise, and aligned to corporate affairs standards.
-
Identify risks, issues, and dependencies that may impact adoption, and escalate appropriately with recommended mitigations.
-
Prepare briefing materials, talking points, and recommendations for senior leaders and sponsors to support informed decision-making.
-
Build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships through reliability, clear communication, and consistent follow-through.
-
Coordinate change activity across strategy, design, and implementation phases, ensuring alignment and sequencing of dependencies.
-
Contribute to building change capability within the program, supporting sustainable and repeatable practices.
-
Collaborate with teams and stakeholders to maintain trust, transparency, and momentum throughout delivery.
What we’re looking for:
Core skills
-
Solid experience in change management across strategy, design, and delivery phases.
-
Demonstrated ability to deliver change initiatives and support adoption across impacted groups.
-
Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at various levels, including senior leaders, with confidence and credibility.
-
Experience supporting the design and delivery of capability uplift or training programs.
-
Strong communicator who can convey information clearly and tailor messaging to different audiences.
-
Pragmatic and solutions-oriented, able to work through ambiguity and organisational complexity.
-
Takes ownership of delivery and is accountable for driving adoption outcomes.
-
Able to simplify complex information and bring people along through the change journey.
-
People-centred in approach, with genuine care for employee experience and engagement during change.
Desirable skills
-
Comfortable working across different sectors, operating models, and change contexts.
-
Interest in how AI and emerging technology are influencing change practice, with a willingness to learn and apply new approaches.
-
Experience contributing to change practice maturity within a program or organisation.
Don't meet every requirement? We encourage you to apply. We value all forms of experience that may be transferrable and relevant.
What you’ll gain:
-
The opportunity to work with leading organisations and cutting-edge technology that challenge and expand your expertise.
-
Flexibility means trusting you to choose when, where, and how you work—balancing what’s best for you, your team, and your clients to grow and thrive together.
-
Clear paths for career progression supported by continuous learning and leadership development.
-
Generous leave entitlements including four weeks’ annual leave and float public holidays to support your work-life balance.
