ABOUT THE ROLE

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Cotton On Womenswear team as a Buying Assistant within the Sunnies & Softs category.

Supporting the Buyer and Assistant Buyer, you will play a key role in helping bring product ranges to life by ensuring strong organisation, accuracy and momentum across the product lifecycle. You will focus on maintaining product information, coordinating samples and key milestones, and supporting the team to deliver product on time, aligned to brand DNA and customer expectations.

You will be responsible for keeping product data accurate and up to date across systems, including pricing, attributes and descriptions, ensuring everything is ready for trade. You will assist in coordinating samples, approvals and product movement, maintaining clear visibility across all stages from development through to delivery.

With a strong eye for detail, you will support reporting and tracking activity, helping to provide the team with accurate information on sales, stock and product performance. You will also assist with preparing for meetings, product reviews and range sign-offs, contributing to the smooth day-to-day running of the team.

Working closely with Design, Planning, Production and Marketing, you will help ensure product is aligned, on track and ready for launch across all customer touchpoints.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Relevant qualification in Buying, Fashion, Merchandising or similar (desirable)
• Previous experience in a Buying Assistant, administrative or retail support role is advantageous
• Strong organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines accurately
• Clear communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams
• Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and support the wider team
• Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment
• Analytical mindset, with the ability to support reporting and interpret data (desirable)
• Exposure to retail, product or administrative environments preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
