VIPeople are the industry leading supplier of professional and friendly Casual Event Staff to a wide variety of sporting and entertainment venues throughout Australia and we are thrilled to be hiring for staff to work at Cirque Du Soleil.

The Show runs from July 25th 2024 – August 25th 2024

Pre- event shifts begin 11th July to July 24th 2024

Weekday Shifts range between the hours of  3pm – 11:30pm

Weekend shifts start time may vary starting 9.30am-10.30pm

To be considered for this opportunity you MUST be available to work 4-5 days a week regularly over the duration of the shows( Show dates- Wednesday to Sunday ) This includes evenings and weekend shifts.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Welcome and help anyone coming to the Tour Services Office;
  • Maintaining the office in a clean and orderly manner; maintain office supplies;
  • Answer the phone, assist with calling vendors, take and distribute messages;
  • Operate the fax and photocopier machines;
  • Handling mail and courier; responsible for shipping and receiving (external and internal mail);
  • Translating and communicating relevant information for the tour;
  • Support other staff members with reservations, deliveries, translations, orders, help office staff with administrative tasks;
  • Support the production coordinators in tasks concerning: Travel and Lodging (booking flights, trains, local transport, hotel reservations, etc.), HR Data Processing (creating, updating databases);
  • Assisting with organising events;

The ideal candidate will:

  • Fluent in English and the language of the region; excellent oral and written skills;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.);
  • Ability to perform office tasks;
  • Good knowledge of the local area, tourism and cultural events;
  • Background in administration and show business production;
  • Ability to multi-task, organise, and prioritise work;
  • Confidentiality needed to deal with sensitive data and information;
  • Resourceful and assertive;
  • Punctual;
  • Positive, proactive, reliable and teamwork oriented; Independent worker who can make fast decisions and adjust to different environments;
  • Availability for the whole city duration;

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $31.64 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week
