Right at Home Perth Northern Suburbs is currently seeking experienced superstar Aged or Disability Care Workers.

Open to applicants in all areas but we’re particularly looking to strengthen our team across Alkimos, Joondalup, Connolly, Currambine, Heathridge, Ocean Reef, Mullaloo, Craigie, Kallaroo, Edgewater. About the role:

You will be working in the community to support individuals to stay home and maintain independence. This role involves providing one-on-one care to clients, focusing on engagement and assistance with daily living tasks. You may be required to assist with personal care, community access, domestic assistance, and more. Successful candidates will have the following:

• Current industry knowledge and skills
• Strong understanding of the Aged Care and NDIS Standards
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• High level of time management and organisational ability
• Flexibility
• Willingness to participate in further education opportunities

Key requirements:

• Certificate III in Individual Support, Ageing, Disability or similar.
• Current National Police Clearance
• Current First Aid and CPR
• Current or willing to obtain Working With Children Card
• Current or willing to obtain Manual handling certificate
• Current Australian drivers licence and reliable car
• Comprehensive car insurance
• Smart mobile phone

Preferred:

• Current or willingness to obtain medication qualification
• Understanding of the local geographical area
• Previous caring experience
• Weekday availability
• Residing in Western Australia is a requirement
