We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Credit Manager to lead our credit and collections function. This role is responsible for managing customer credit risk, driving effective collections strategies, optimising cash flow, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures. The successful candidate will partner closely with Finance, Operations, Sales, and Customer teams to support business growth while maintaining strong financial controls.

:

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end credit management process across the business.
  • Develop and implement credit policies, procedures, and controls to minimise financial risk.
  • Monitor customer accounts, aged debt, and collection activities to improve cash flow and reduce overdue balances.
  • Manage complex collections and escalations while maintaining positive customer relationships.
  • Analyse credit risk and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Continuous Improvement of credit policies, applications and systems
  • Lead, coach, and develop credit and accounts receivable team members.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and leverage technology to enhance process efficiency.

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Have previous experience in Credit Management
  • Sound knowledge of credit management processes within a high volume, fast paced environment
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Proven skills with complex accounts
  • Superior problem solving and negotiation skills
  • Be proficient in accounting software (Oracle preferred but not essential) and MS Office packages
  • Take an analytical approach and have the ability to make sound decisions
  • Be an effective communicator with advanced people skills, and the ability to influence
