About the role:
Curtin University is seeking a Research Officer to join the CP Movetime study, an innovative research project focused on improving health outcomes for children and young people with cerebral palsy through the use of wearable sensor technology and a mobile app.
Working closely with Study Lead Dr Dayna Pool, the Digital Project Manager, Biostatistician and Health Economist, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of this multidisciplinary research project. This position is ideal for someone with a passion for research, digital health and emerging technologies, who enjoys working collaboratively and has a strong eye for detail.
The successful candidate will have experience in data processing, a demonstrated track record of writing research publications, and excellent organisational skills. Candidates who are currently enrolled in an MPhil or PhD are encouraged to apply, although this is not essential.
This is a casual position at 7.5-15 hours (0.2 FTE - 0.4 FTE) per week (depending on candidate) for up to 12 months. $61.54 - $65.29 per hour (G06).

- Data processing and cleaning
- Basic statistical analysis
- Experience in a tertiary education environment
- Experience writing research papers
- Excellent attention to detail, ensuring that data, methods and theories are accurate, of high-quality and accessible to other researchers
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
- Ability to manage time effectively and be reliable and approachable.
- You will require current work rights in Australia that match the tenure of this role

- This role requires that the successful candidate must undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check
