About the company:
Acorn Rentals provides replacement vehicles to people involved in motor vehicle accidents and in most cases we are reimbursed by the insurance companies. From our Head Office in Macquarie Park NSW we receive all bookings, organise vehicle logistics and handle the claims administration for branches in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and Brisbane.

About the role:
The successful candidate will be a part of a young professional team who are responsible for managing the claims from the start of an application through to the invoicing stage. Reporting directly to the Claims Administration Manager the role will offer a chance to develop a wide range of quality clerical and customer service skills with ongoing support and training.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a confident and friendly phone manner
  • Has Exceptional written and oral communications skills
  • Has Intermediate computer and keyboard skills including Microsoft office knowledge
  • Is able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Shows the ability to work independently and a part of a team
  • Can provide high level of customer service and build rapport
  • Displays willingness to learn and take initiative

Your Duties will include:

  • Taking applications/bookings via phone, email and fax
  • Liaising with insurance companies
  • Making informed decisions on liability in motor vehicle claims
  • Coordinating the delivery and collection of replacement vehicles to clients
  • Contacting Smash Repair Centres in relation to our clients vehicle repairs
  • Actioning and responding to emails
  • General administration duties
  • Data entry
