This role will assist in providing cyber security awareness and cyber security cultural uplift across the Queensland Health System on behalf of eHealth Queensland.
What you'll do
As the Cyber Security Awareness Officer, you will research trends, analyse data, and develop targeted awareness materials and reporting to address key cyber security risks across the organisation, including fact sheets, presentations, and other supporting collateral. You will prepare and distribute Cyber Security Alerts and incident notifications on behalf of the Cyber Security Group to ensure timely advice enables immediate action on emerging vulnerabilities and active threats.
In this role, you will provide support in the coordination of a virtual network of Cyber Security Ambassadors across Queensland Health, comprising clinicians, senior leaders, and administrative staff, while building and maintaining effective working relationships through strong communication, consultation and negotiation. You will also provide relevant and timely cyber security advice to a broad range of stakeholders, responding to enquiries with a customer-focused approach, and apply highly developed engagement and problem-solving skills to foster productive partnerships with eHealth, privacy, fraud awareness, and other key teams to support shared service outcomes.
About you
We are searching for someone who has:
Demonstrated experience in assisting in the development and implementation of cultural change through a cybersecurity awareness program (or similar) or in a large, complex and geographically dispersed service delivery organisation.
Demonstrated broad knowledge and understanding (or ability to acquire knowledge) of the major trends, strategic directions and legislative and governance frameworks related to information security, with the capacity to successfully adopt them in the healthcare environment.
Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas: Information Security, Training, Cultural Change, Communication, Security Governance, Management, Incident Management.
Demonstrated experience assisting in developing and generating cyber security (or similar) reports, using data visualisation tools with multiple data sets.
Highly developed research, analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills including the proven capacity to initiate appropriate strategic and operational responses to key issues affecting the enterprise.
Demonstrated highly developed writing, interpersonal, presentation and consultation skills, with the ability to negotiate, influence and maintain effective relationships with senior and multi-disciplinary staff across networks and organisations
Demonstrated ability to think creatively and analytically and to work independently and in partnership with a multi-disciplinary team resulting in successful outcomes
