About the role:

Data Entry Operator is responsible for processing customers’ purchase, service and return orders from receival to release for further processing in other departments in Operations.


Responsibilities


  • Receiving, opening and sorting parcels with purchase, service and return orders and preparing them for processing,
  • Reviewing, clarifying & processing purchase and service orders into ERP system (physical and electronic orders).
  • Cooperation with other areas of Operations to resolve any queries regarding customer’s orders.
  • Supporting New Zealand Operations with order entry.
  • Creation of credit notes – rebill corrections.
  • Other duties as required by supervisor from time to time.


Qualifications

  • HSC or equivalent.
  • Further education in business or administration is desirable.


Skills and Abilities:


  • Strong computer skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team.
  • High attention to detail and responsibility for performed actions.
  • Strong prioritisation, time management and organisational skills.
  • Sound verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer Focused attitude.
  • Initiative, sound judgement and maturity.
  • Ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders with varied level of skill and expertise.
  • Ability to effectively handle enquiries.

Knowledge


  • Understanding of hearing care products and related accessories.
  • Knowledge of ERP system processes and procedures.


Experience:


  • Previous experience in a Customer Service, Administration or Production role (desired).
