Start ASAP - Approximately 20 Hours Per Week
Preferred Schedule: 4–5 days per week (Monday to Friday)

Pay: $29.00 - $36.23 per hour +Superannuation (depending on experience)

Sunshine Cleaning Professionals is a family-owned cleaning business seeking an organised, proactive, and detail-focused Office Assistant to join our small administration team. You will become the vital link between our cleaners and clients, cross-checking timesheets against schedules and processing client invoices, helping ensure our operations run smoothly every day.

This is more than a typical administration role. We are looking for someone who enjoys improving processes, solving problems, and ensuring the details are right. You'll play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly while helping us continue to grow.

About the Role

Working as part of our small administration team, you will coordinate information between our cleaners, clients, and management team to ensure accurate payroll processing, invoicing, scheduling, and record keeping.

You will be responsible for ensuring job completion information is accurate, timesheets are verified, client records are maintained, and invoices are prepared correctly. You will be the person who helps keep everything connected behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and process cleaner timesheets and job completion records.
  • Cross-check attendance, service delivery, and client information for accuracy.
  • Assist with payroll preparation and administration.
  • Prepare and verify information for client invoicing.
  • Manage scheduling adjustments and maintain service records.
  • Identify discrepancies and resolve issues before they become larger problems.
  • Assist with sales administration, reporting, marketing support, and general office operations.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to increase efficiency.
  • Support the wider administration team with day-to-day business operations.

About You

You are someone who enjoys creating order, improving systems, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks. You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy being part of a small team where your contribution genuinely matters.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 2 years' administration experience.
  • Strong computer literacy including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with payroll, invoicing, or accounts administration.
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership of tasks.

Highly Regarded

  • Experience with ServiceM8.
  • Experience using Xero desired.
