What does the ideal candidate look like

Skills

  • Proven experience of working within logistics/warehousing management, with experience in a Defence-related setting being a significant advantage.

  • A strong track record of personnel leadership, management, and development.

  • Sound knowledge of warehouse and distribution services operations management.

  • Excellent communication, decision-making, problem-solving, and people management skills.

  • Certified professional or relevant degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related fields would be advantageous

Personal qualities

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with an ability to build strong relationships across all levels.

  • Ability to confidently lead, drive outcomes and develop diverse high-performance teams.

  • Understanding of operational drivers, cost control and operational budgeting.

  • Process driven, analytical and methodical with a passion to drive continuous improvement
