The position offered is a full-time permanent role working within a team of engineers who work closely with customers to provide engineered solutions, from concept to manufacture, installation and commissioning.

The role requires the candidate to have the right attitude and be willing to learn.

Responsibilities include the following:

• Designing products for a variety of industrial cooling solution projects.
• Concept product development.
• Creating 3D models and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.
• Preparing manuals, reports, and other documents as required.
• Liaising with customers, production personnel, and suppliers to gain information necessary to complete designs.
• Maintaining drafting libraries, work instructions and other drawing office documentation.
• Adhering to our ISO9001 Quality System.

Skills and experience:

• Demonstrated experience in the above criteria.
• Familiarity/basic experience in SolidWorks design and drafting.
• Relevant qualifications related to mechanical drafting.
• Experience in a design role working with workshop / production staff, engineers & customers is preferred but not essential.
• Knowledge & experience in metal fabrication processes including welding, cutting, and assembly operations is also advantageous.
• Proficiency in MS Office software use.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must have Australian work rights or valid work visa to be considered for this position.
• Knowledge of heat transfer principles and thermal system design (preferred but not essential).
