As a Cashier / Shop Assistant, you’ll be an important part of our team, helping to create a positive shopping experience for our customers. Your duties will include:

- Providing friendly and efficient customer service.

- Operating the checkout and handling transactions accurately.

- Serving and slicing deli and small goods

- Replenishing stock and maintaining well-presented shelves.

- Receiving deliveries and unpacking stock.

- Assisting with general store presentation and cleanliness.

- Supporting the team with a variety of day-to-day supermarket duties.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

- Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused.

- Reliable, punctual, and honest.

- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.

- Able to work efficiently in a busy team environment.

- Well presented with good communication skills.

- Willing to learn and take on new responsibilities.

Previous supermarket or retail experience is highly regarded but not essential—we’re happy to train the right person with a positive attitude.

Essential Requirements

Availability to work a flexible roster, including weekends and public holidays if required.
