About the role:


Queensland Rail is excited to offer a permanent part-time opportunity for a motivated and customer‑focused professional to join our Stations Customer Service Team as a Station Master (3rd Class) at our Wynnum station.


This role plays an important part in delivering a positive customer experience and supporting the safe and efficient day‑to‑day operation of some of Queensland Rail’s busiest stations.


As a Station Master (3rd Class), you will meet the business demands of the City Network Stations division by leading station operations and facilitating high‑quality customer service. You will manage station facilities, resources, and personnel in accordance with Queensland Rail policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to enhance station performance and customer outcomes.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide effective management and leadership to ensure a high standard of customer service and efficient operation of station operations.
  • Provide a professional standard of customer service that in every respect meets or exceeds our customer expectations and encourages our customers to regularly use Queensland Rail services with a focus of maintaining on time running
  • Ensure a high standard of safety for both Queensland Rail customers and employees and that all relevant safety regulations are met.
  • Ensure the station is operated in an efficient and effective manner in accordance with regulations, policies and procedures

What we are looking for:

  • High level of skill in time management and safe working initiatives
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to follow standard and procedures within Station operations.
  • As a frontline role you will need to have excellent communications skills, and the ability make substantial decisions working within Queensland Rail’s Values and Behaviours
