Full job description

Lendlease is a real estate business that operates as three deep capabilities of Investments, Development and Construction. We’re committed to creating benefit for all, in everything we do.

We’re proud to be a global leader in designing and building sustainable, innovative and vibrant city places. Many of our urban developments across the world have become thriving, iconic destinations that have revitalised cities and delivered lasting social benefit.

About the role:

We have a rare opportunity for a Games Master Plan Manager to join our Brisbane Athlete Village team on a 12-month fixed term contract. In this role you will lead the planning, coordination and refinement of the Brisbane Athlete Village Games Master Plan, helping create a world-class village experience for athletes and officials during the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the development and refinement of the Brisbane Athlete Village Games Master Plan.

  • Managing a multidisciplinary team of consultants across planning, design, transport, logistics, operations and technical disciplines.

  • Coordinating stakeholder engagement with Brisbane 2032, government agencies and key project partners.

  • Managing design development, technical investigations, optioneering and interfaces across the precinct.

  • Ensuring alignment between Games requirements, operational needs, infrastructure planning and long-term legacy objectives.

  • Leading governance, reporting, programme management and key project approvals.

  • Identifying and managing project risks, opportunities, dependencies and planning assumptions.

  • Acting as the key interface between consultants, stakeholders and project leadership teams.

About you:

You are a strategic and collaborative individual who thrives in large-scale, complex projects and enjoy working at the centre of planning, design and stakeholder decision making. To this role you will also bring:

  • Significant experience leading complex planning, design, development or major event projects.

  • Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary consultant teams and coordinate multiple workstreams.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with experience working across government, industry and project partners.

  • Exceptional communication, influencing and relationship management capabilities.

  • Experience in major sporting events, Olympic or Paralympic planning, large-scale precincts, infrastructure, venue development or master planning will be highly regarded.

About us:
We are committed to developing and retaining the best people and provide the best possible learning and development opportunities. We are a company who thrive on our employee’s wellbeing, and offer benefits including:

  • Balance your career and personal life with work flexibility, purchase additional annual leave and extensive family support benefits.

  • 3x extra Wellbeing days per year (on top of annual leave).

At Lendlease we offer workplaces that unite diverse minds; where respect, equitable treatment and equitable opportunity are just the norm. We remain committed to supporting under-represented groups and providing a wide range of inclusion initiatives, so that everyone is supported to thrive.
