ABOUT THE ROLE

Fairfield RSL Club is seeking an experienced IT Technician to join our in‑house technology team. In this hands‑on role, you will support the deployment, maintenance and reliable operation of our computer systems, networks and web‑based services across a busy hospitality environment.

YOU WILL:

  • Determine software and hardware requirements and provide practical solutions to technical issues
  • Respond to user enquiries and incidents involving software, hardware and peripheral devices
  • Install, configure and update operating systems and business applications
  • Ensure efficient use and performance of applications, equipment and ICT resources
  • Implement, monitor and maintain computer networks

YOU NEED:

  • A Diploma or Advanced Diploma in information Technology or closely related field
  • Proven experience supporting end users in a business environment
  • Strong ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software and basic network issues
  • Experience with Windows desktop and server environments, common business applications and basic networking (TCP/IP, routing, switching, Wi‑Fi)
  • Clear communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical staff
