Position Overview:

As an automotive mechanical and electrical technician / mechanic at Care Plus Auto Services, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing, repairing and maintaining a variety of vehicles.

Our workshop offers a diverse range of work, ensuring you'll encounter new challenges and opportunities to enhance your skills every single day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical and electrical issues.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair various automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering and electrical components.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, tyre rotations and fluid flushes.
• Utilise diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and rectify complex vehicle problems.
• Follow repair manuals and technical specifications to complete repairs and adjustments accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Provide accurate time estimates for repairs and communicate them to management.
• Explain technical issues and repair options to managers in a clear and understandable manner.
• Keep up to date with the latest automotive technology and industry trends.
• Collaborate with other team members and technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs and customer satisfaction.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an automotive mechanic working on various makes and models of vehicles.
• Proficient in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical automotive systems.
• In depth knowledge of automotive components and systems.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license.
