About the Role
This role is responsible for supporting the financial operations of the business while assisting with NDIS Plan Management services. The successful applicant will ensure participant funds are managed accurately and efficiently, maintain financial records, process invoices and payments, and provide exceptional customer service to participants and providers.

We are looking for someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented and able to work independently while managing competing priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process supplier invoices and participant claims.
  • Manage NDIS Plan Management funding in accordance with NDIS requirements.
  • Process payments and daily banking activities.
  • Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Generate invoices, remittance advices and receipts.
  • Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS) where applicable.
  • Assist with payroll processing.
  • Produce financial reports and reconciliations.
  • Maintain accurate records using QuickBooks, spreadsheets and internal systems.
  • Liaise with participants, support coordinators and service providers regarding invoices and payments.
  • Ensure compliance with NDIS Practice Standards, privacy requirements and organisational policies.
  • Provide general administrative and finance support to the team.

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Banking and Finance, Commerce, Business (Accounting) or another relevant finance or accounting qualification.
  • Current membership of, or eligibility for membership with, a recognised professional accounting or bookkeeping association (such as CPA Australia, Chartered Accountants ANZ (CA ANZ), Institute of Public Accountants (IPA), Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB), ACCA or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated experience in bookkeeping, accounting or financial administration.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience using QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive financial information.
  • Knowledge of NDIS Plan Management and the NDIS Pricing Arrangements (or willingness to undertake training).

About You

  • Strong computer literacy (confident with email, Word, Excel, and online systems)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
  • Experience using QuickBooks is preferred
  • Working with Children Check (EMPLOYEE)
  • Police Check
  • NDIS Screening Check
