About the role
We have an opportunity for a Director - Financial Strategy, Finance & Business Services to be part of our Financial Strategy, Finance & Business Services team. The Director - Financial Strategy, Finance & Business Services leads and manages the delivery of strategic and operational activities and initiatives within the Financial Strategy Branch to ensure compliance with internal and external drivers, policies, practices and relevant statutory requirements. Specifically, this incorporates oversight of internal reporting, monitoring requirements and associated recommendations, financial business partnering, preparation of internal budgets and projections, capital management and financial analysis and evaluation.

The Director - Financial Strategy will need to be an experienced leader with a strong people focus and a talent for influencing across the whole of the organisation and driving delivery of best possible advice and analysis to facilitate effective and strategic financial and commercial decision making for NSWPF.

This role offers the opportunity to leverage advanced financial expertise, with professional accounting qualifications (CA/CPA or equivalent) and/or extensive experience in financial strategy within a large, complex organisation highly regarded.

This role includes a total remuneration package of between $208,400 to $297,250 including superannuation. The anticipated start date is July 2026. Work location is Sydney CBD.
