What's involved - The Director of Nursing (DON), is a Registered Nurse who can demonstrate advanced knowledge of contemporary nursing practice and theory. To be successful candidates will be a Registered Nurse who demonstrates:
Competence in the provision of nursing care as specified by registration requirements, NMBA standards and codes, educational preparation, relevant legislation and context of care.
Clinical expertise and proven operational management for remote area facility.
Capacity to deliver health services across geographically diverse environments and population groups.
Personal resilience to operate professionally and to work collaboratively with internal and external staff and stakeholders.
Provision of expert clinical care.
