Full job description

We are currently seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Disability Support Worker to support a participant in their home and community. The ideal candidate will be patient, respectful, and committed to providing care that promotes independence, dignity, and well being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with personal care, including hygiene and grooming
  • Support with meal preparation and light household tasks
  • Provide companionship and emotional support
  • Assist with community access such as appointments, shopping, and social activities
  • Follow the participant’s care plan and provide consistent, respectful support
  • Maintain clear communication with the participant and care team

About You:

  • Experience in disability support or a similar role
  • Compassionate, reliable, and patient approach
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and respectfully in a participant’s home

Requirements:

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Working With Children Check (if applicable)
  • First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
  • Current police check
