About the Opportunity

We are building a dedicated support team around a woman in her 20s living in Toowoomba with MS and mental health support needs.

We are looking for reliable, compassionate support workers who can provide consistent daily support and build a genuine working relationship with the participant.

Your Role - Daily support tasks may include:

  • Personal care and daily living activities.
  • Meal preparation and household tasks.
  • Community access, appointments and social activities.
  • Maintaining routines and supporting independence.
  • Mental health and emotional support.
  • Medication assistance, where required and trained.
  • Monitoring changes in presentation and communicating with the broader team.
  • Accurate progress notes and professional communication.

We're Looking For Support Workers who are:

  • Calm, reliable and patient.
  • Confident working independently.
  • Respectful of choice, privacy and dignity.
  • Comfortable supporting physical disability and mental health needs.
  • A strong communicator who works well within a team.
  • Committed to building consistency and trust.

Experience with MS, neurological conditions or mental health is highly regarded, but not essential. Training and participant-specific onboarding will be provided.

Requirements

  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • National Police Check.
  • Current First Aid & CPR.
  • Valid Australian Driver's Licence.
  • Comprehensive vehicle insurance.
  • Australian work rights.
