Disability Support Worker – Join the Bloom Team

Are you passionate about empowering people with disabilities to live vibrant, connected lives? Bloom Support Options is growing, and we're looking for compassionate, reliable support workers to join our team across Adelaide.

We offer tailored support through individual services, group programs, and community engagement, helping participants build confidence, independence, and joy in everyday life.

What You'll Do

  • Provide person-centred support in-home, in the community, or through our group programs
  • Assist with daily living, personal care, transport, and social activities
  • Support participants to achieve their NDIS goals with warmth and professionalism
  • Collaborate with a caring team that values inclusion, growth, and wellbeing

Our Group Programs

You'll have the opportunity to work across our dynamic group offerings, including:

  • Bloom Social – fun, inclusive outings and events in the community
  • Bloom Sports – sports focused activities promoting physical activity, teamwork and social connection
  • Bloom Girls Group – fun, inclusive outings and events in the community, cooking, arts and crafts, workshops
  • Bloom Next Step – practical learning for everyday independence post school
  • Bloom Gaming - Building social connections, emotional regulation, communication and teamwork through a shared interest
  • Bloom Cooking - Building independent living skills through hands on involvement in every stage of meal preparation including planning, shopping, cooking and cleaning

What We're Looking For

  • Genuine care and empathy for people with disability
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Reliability, initiative, and a positive attitude
  • Cert III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, or equivalent (preferred)
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, First Aid, CPR, and Driver's Licence
  • Applicants must be Australian citizens to be eligible for this position
  • First Aid and CPR certification must be obtained within 3 months of commencing employment
