We have a range of assistance and enhancement programs that are made as per the level of support that people need. Our team of support workers and trainers is highly experienced, qualified, and fully refined to offer the best services that you truly deserve. Arch Care offers a lot of programs that are centered intensely around the empowerment and development of the personal capabilities of individuals with disabilities.

About the role:

Our established and growing team is looking for a Full Time Disability Care Worker with at least one year of experience.

The position will offer a competitive base salary of $70,000-$80,000 plus superannuation

The successful candidates should:

Key Responsibilities

· Accompanying disabled persons during daily activities

· Assisting clients with their mobility

· preparing food for clients

· Arranging social activities

· Performing housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming and cleaning

· Assisting in personal hygiene and dressing

· Providing companionship, friendship, and emotional support

· May do shopping and run errands

· May live with the person

· Provides general household assistance, emotional support and care

· Companionship for disabled people

Appropriate candidates must have the following skills, education, and experience:

· Hold a relevant AQF (or equivalent) Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care/Disability).

· Experience in Disability Care is mandatory (minimum one year)

· Successful candidates must have NDIS workers check.

· Good Communication skills

· Good team player

  • Certificate I - IV (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Working with people with disability: 1 year (Preferred)
