Job Description:

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Disability Support Workers to join our team. The role involves supporting people with high-intensity disabilities to achieve their personal goals, enhance their independence, and participate in the community. Our support workers provide a range of in-home and community-based services, including personal care, domestic assistance, social support, daytime activities, and transport.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation (Personal Care).
  • Provide support for community engagement, appointments, and recreational activities.
  • Offer companionship and encouragement to enhance clients' social connections and independence.
  • Implement individualised support plans and document progress, and supporting NDIS goals/plans.
  • Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all clients.
  • Effective communication, compassion, and willingness to learn!

Additional Requirements:

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Police Check
  • Drivers license + own car
  • Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
  • Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, client-centered approach.
  • Have an TFN (or ABN and required insurances if applying for a Contractor role)
