Full job description

As a Disability Support Worker, you’ll deliver exceptional, person-centred care to clients with physical, intellectual and mental health challenges. Your day-to-day will include:

  • Assisting with daily living tasks like personal hygiene and grooming.
  • Providing transportation and companionship for appointments, shopping, and social outings.
  • Supporting clients in achieving their NDIS goals, promoting independence and inclusion.
  • Flexible Shifts with Different Clients: Work with a variety of clients in the area, with shifts available weekdays and weekends from 6am to 10pm.

What You Bring to the Team

  • Experience with behaviours of concern, including PTSD and depression.
  • Background in mental health and complex care.
  • Understand of recover-focused supports.
  • Training in restrictive practices and top-notch communication skills.
  • A current driver’s licence, your own car, and a passion for empowering others.
  • WWCC, NDISWC and current police check are mandatory for this role.
  • Completed NDIS Code of Conduct
  • First Aid and CPR compliance

Job Types: Casual, Permanent part time.

Pay: $36.22 to 46.70
