Full job description

We're looking for a compassionate and reliable Disability Support Worker to join our team on a casual basis. This role involves supporting people living with disability in their own homes, helping them maintain their independence and manage everyday household tasks.

You'll work closely with participants to provide practical assistance tailored to their individual needs. Depending on the participant, this may include support with cooking, meal preparation, cleaning, laundry, household organisation, and personal care. The role focuses on helping participants maintain their daily routines while providing respectful and person-centred support.

We're seeking someone who is patient, dependable, and comfortable working independently. A caring attitude, strong initiative, and a willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.

Requirements:

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Current CPR certificate (less than 12 months old)
  • Current driver's licence
  • Excellent verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to work independently and show initiative
  • Compassionate, respectful, and reliable approach to supporting others

Desirable:

  • Previous experience as a Disability Support Worker
  • Certificate III in Individual Support or similar qualification
