Full job description

Please do not apply unless you are available between the hours of 7am-8pm weekdays. Weekends optional

Our priority is to find support workers that are reliable, consistent and most importantly, committed to putting the clients first! We want our support workers to build a rapport with our clients and be interested in their goals and willing to support them in achieving these goals.

We currently provide our clients one on one support services in the following:

- Daily Activities

- Social activities

- Assisted in home living

- Community participation

- Transport

- Respite care

- Week care and weekend care

Your responsibilities will include:

- Provide high-quality support to clients with empathy and compassion

- Keep accurate and up to date documentation

- Work independently within the community or the participant's home

- Reporting after each shift

- Support participants to achieve positive outcomes of their personal goals as stated within their NDIS plan

- Transport participants in your own car to a range of different services and appointments (Kilometres used will be paid for)

- Participate in community events

- Other tasks as requested by the manager

Must have or be willing to obtain:

- National Police Check

- Blue Card or Yellow Card

- First Aid Certificate

- Current Queensland Drivers License and own vehicle

- Certificate III in Disability Care

- A personal phone to report case notes and receive shift notifications

- Minimum 6 months experience in the same field

Pay: From $43.23 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 15 per week
