Full job description

We are looking for a new Disability Support Worker for a Member who resides in Gosnells.

The member is looking for a reliable support worker who can take on regular supports but who is also amenable to cover leave and be available at short notice on occasion.

Experience with supporting members with Autism is advantageous as well being able to support and motivate people to be active participants in their life- Striking a balance between rapport building, motivating and accountability. Helping keep the household running as well as assisting her to participate in her community.

Previous experience is not necessary as all training with be provided. The most important attribute to bring to the support is your values and a positive attitude and resilience.

A supportive and proactive team approach is employed.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $35.80 – $77.03 per hour
