Disability Support Worker jobs in Wynnum QLD

Nextt is looking for compassionate and reliable Disability Support Workers to provide casual backfill support across the Bayside area.

This role supports clients with psychosocial disabilities, helping them maintain their independence, wellbeing and daily routines.

About the role You’ll provide person-centred support including:

• Supporting clients with daily living and community activities
• Medication assistance
• Manual handling
• Providing safe, respectful and consistent support
• Building positive relationships and encouraging independence

Roster Shifts are available across:

• 9:00am–2:00pm
• 5:00pm–10:00pm

What you’ll need

• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Current Working with Children Check
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence
• Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
• NDIS Orientation Module – Quality, Safety and You
• Current First Aid and CPR certificates
• Experience with manual handling and medication assistance
• Experience supporting people with psychosocial disability is highly regarded

Pay rates E3.1 Casual – In-Home & SIL | SCHADS Award

• Monday–Friday: $36.81/hr
• Afternoon: $40.49/hr
• Active Night: $41.23/hr
• Saturday: $51.54/hr
• Sunday: $66.26/hr
• Public Holiday: $80.99/hr
