About the role

Red Cross believes that everyone deserves a home that is safe, secure and affordable. In this role you will be responsible for leading, coaching and mentoring a team of Case Workers delivering vital case management support within the Immediate Housing Response for Families (IHRF) program. The program provides short-term emergency accommodation and support to families experiencing or at risk of homelessness, often involving financial assistance for tenancy start-up and sustainment costs. This program aims to help families transition from crisis to stable, long-term housing solutions.

What you will bring

• Significant experience within the homelessness sector
• Proven track record as an effective leader, supporting and building constructive relationships within teams
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills including excellent communication skills
• Experience in providing programs to clients from diverse backgrounds and cultures
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders
• Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in use of software applications
• Working with Children Check
