Weekend Disability Support Worker (Casual)

Gold Coast, QLD
Monday to Sunday Shifts including sleepover| Casual

Acts Care Limited is a registered NDIS provider supporting people with disability to live safely and independently in residential settings. We are currently seeking Casual Disability Support Workers who are available to work Monday to Sunday shifts.

This is a participant-facing role providing direct care and support in line with individual support plans.

About the Role

You will support participants with daily living activities in shared and individual accommodation, helping to promote independence, dignity, and choice.

Key Duties

  • Provide direct disability support in residential settings
  • Assist with personal care, daily routines, and domestic tasks
  • Support community access and social participation where required
  • Follow individual support plans and behaviour support strategies
  • Complete accurate shift notes and documentation
  • Report incidents, risks, and changes in wellbeing
  • Work safely and professionally in line with NDIS Practice Standards

About You

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent (or working towards)
  • Availability to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday
  • Clear spoken English and good communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Understanding of professional boundaries and confidentiality

Compliance Requirements

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Working with Children Check / Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)
  • National Police Check
  • Valid driver licence and reliable transport
