NDIS Support Worker

About Axis Supports Join an inclusive, well-established NDIS provider dedicated to empowering people with disabilities. We invest in our team, offering a supportive environment focused on your long-term career progression.

The Opportunity We are seeking experienced, trauma-informed Support Workers to assist NDIS participants with high physical and complex behavioural needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support clients with psychosocial disabilities, ASD, OCD, and intellectual disabilities.
  • Implement Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs) safely within restrictive practice guidelines.
  • Provide personal care, daily living assistance, and community access support.
  • Manage PEG feeding and hoist transfers (experience preferred; comprehensive training provided).

About You

  • Proven background in high and complex support, remaining calm in challenging situations.
  • Comfortable providing dedicated personal and physical care with respect and dignity.
  • Highly reliable with excellent communication skills and flexibility for morning, evening, and weekend shifts.

Requirements

  • Cert III or IV in Disability, Mental Health, or Community Services.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check & National Police Check (issued within 6 months).
  • Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP).
  • Current First Aid & CPR certificates.
