We are a small NDIS provider based on the Gold Coast. We service participants from the Gold Coast to Sunshine Coast. We offer clients individualised support, entirely focused on building their capacity, helping them meet their goals and improve their lives. We offer people the support they need, with the worker they choose. Because “choice and control” is not just a catchphrase for us. Qualifications & experience

Certificate III in Individual Support or Disability or minimum 1 year previous experience working in Disability

  • NDIS worker screening & Working with Children Check
  • Current drivers licence
  • Current First Aid and CPR
  • Applicants must have the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of technology used for rosters, recording progress notes, policies and procedures etc
  • Empathy, patience and a genuine desire or passion for helping others
  • Be very flexible with availability, working a variety of shifts throughout the day, including early morning, evening and weekend shifts

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Support and assist participants to perform daily living tasks
  • Support and assist participants to engage with their communities
  • Support participants to develop their skills, abilities and confidence
  • Build relationships with participants whilst maintaining professional boundaries at all times
  • Promote and assist participants to live an active, healthy lifestyle
  • Support clients to achieve their personal and NDIS goals
  • Follow all policies and procedures and record daily progress reports for supports provided
