Full job description

Female Disability Support Worker Required

Oak & Aura Care is seeking a reliable and compassionate female Disability Support Worker to support a female NDIS participant in Magnetron.

This role is suitable for someone who is caring, patient, professional and committed to providing safe, respectful and person centred support. The participant requires regular weekday, weekend and sleepover support.

Female support worker required due to the participant’s preference and your own vehicle is a must.

Preferably looking for someone who can at least cover weekdays.

Available shifts:

Monday: 6:00 am to 8:00 am and 11:00 am to 1:00 pm
Tuesday: 11:00 am to 1:00 pm
Wednesday: 11:00 am to 1:00 pm
Thursday: 11:00 am to 2:00 pm
Friday: 11:00 am to 3:00 pm and sleepover 10:00 pm to 6:00 am (with next morning two active hours)
Saturday: 6:00 am to 8:00 am and sleepover 10:00 pm to 6:00 am (with next morning two active hours)
Sunday: 6:00 am to 8:00 am and sleepover 10:00 pm to 6:00 am (with next morning two active hours)

Key responsibilities:

Provide respectful and person centred support
Assist with daily living tasks and personal care as required
Support the participant with routine, safety and wellbeing
Follow support plans, risk assessments and organisational policies
Maintain professional communication and accurate progress notes
Support community access where required

Requirements:

Female support worker
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Working With Children Check, if applicable
First Aid and CPR certificate
NDIS Worker Orientation Module
Valid driver licence
Own reliable vehicle
Comprehensive car insurance
Previous disability support experience preferred
Reliable, punctual and professional attitude
