We have an exciting opportunity to join our Sydney team as Leader, Crew Culture, supporting our award-winning Cabin Crew, recognised as Best Cabin Crew for seven years running. We’re looking for an inspiring, people-focused leader who will create an environment where our crew feel supported, confident, and ready to deliver an exceptional inflight experience every time they sign on.

Your leadership will shape team culture, wellbeing, and performance, making sure our crew feel valued and equipped to thrive. Reporting to the Crew Culture Manager (Base Manager), you’ll guide your team through the day-to-day operation, championing safety, service excellence, and collaboration. You’ll play a key part in helping our crew grow, supporting them through challenges, celebrating their wins, and building a strong sense of connection and purpose.


In this role, you will:

  • Inspire and motivate Cabin Crew, creating a positive and inclusive team culture that brings out the best in everyone
  • Lead your team to deliver exceptional service, meet operational targets, and uphold safety and service standards
  • Owning the people experience - coaching, performance management, engagement, recognition, and wellbeing.
  • Build strong relationships with crew, offering coaching, guidance, and support tailored to their needs
  • Help your team navigate performance expectations and development conversations with clarity and care
  • Support crew through wellbeing, injury management, and return-to-work processes in a compassionate and practical way
  • Work closely with the operation to ensure smooth daily performance and a consistent experience for our guests
  • With over 100 direct reports no two days are the same. It is fast paced, rewarding, and filled with impact

What you need to be successful:

  • Strong leadership experience in a safety-critical, customer-focused environment
  • Experience supporting large, diverse teams in a fast-paced environment
  • A people-first approach - genuine passion for developing others and building high-performing teams.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to influence and collaborate effectively
  • Emotional intelligence and the ability to read and respond to people with empathy
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional customer outcomes through your team
  • Confidence working within an Enterprise Agreement and operational frameworks
  • Resilience, adaptability, and a calm presence when things get busy
