About the Practice:
Our Bupa Dental Coffs Harbour practice is well known for its cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, implants and general dentistry. We are a solid, stable team looking for an experienced Practice Manager as we prepare for a significant growth in customer volumes. Team dynamic is incredibly important to us in our practice. The Opportunity:
We have a versatile, exciting and rewarding opportunity at our Coffs Harbour, NSW practice available for an experienced Practice Manager seeking permanent full-time work:

The Heart of the role:

  • Coaching, leading & developing a high performing practice team in a positive environment for both staff and patients
  • Assist with overall financial performance of the practice in line with the approved budget
  • Maintain sterilisation, infection control standards and stock control
  • Conveniently located with accessible public transport and free street parking onsite!
  • Patient management; greeting and welcoming patients, answering all phone enquiries, making & confirming appointments; checking, processing & managing customer accounts
  • General administration including processing payments using EFTPOS & HiCaps
  • Proactively marketing your practice to drive patient numbers
  • Effectively manage the recruitment & selection for all practice staff

What you'll bring:

  • Previous dental Practice Manager or strong dental experience is desirable
  • Prior business and people management experience essential
  • Proven track record of strong organisational skills, administrative and time management
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, customer service skills and strong business acumen
  • Understanding how to generate income and control costs
  • Able to face into difficult conversations & deal promptly with issues when they arise
  • Comfortable conversing with people from all walks of life, including dentists, patients, and your practice team
  • Experienced in comprehending and managing the P&L for the practice
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, customer service skills and strong business acumen
