Full job description

As a Support Worker at Sun Life Disability and Aged Care, you will play a vital role in providing personalised support and assistance to individuals with disabilities and the elderly. Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

1. Personal Care: Providing support with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, grooming, and toileting.

2. Domestic Assistance: Assisting with meal preparation, household chores, and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.

3. Social Support: Engaging clients in social activities, outings, and community events to promote social inclusion and enhance their quality of life.

4. Transportation: Providing transportation assistance for clients to attend appointments, run errands, and participate in recreational activities.

5. Medication Management: Assisting clients with medication reminders and adherence as per their care plans and medical instructions.

6. Participant Advocacy: Advocating for the rights and needs of clients, ensuring they receive appropriate support and access to resources.

7. Documentation: Maintaining accurate and detailed records of client interactions, progress, and any changes in their condition or needs.

The role of a Support Worker at Sun Life Disability and Aged Care is dynamic and fulfilling, centred around empowering individuals to live independently. We are currently looking for Male candidates who is proficient in English to cover shifts in ingleburn and surrounding suburbs.
