About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Distribution Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of our distribution operations across Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring products are delivered efficiently, on time, and within budget while maintaining high service standards and optimizing inventory, warehousing, and logistics performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end distribution and logistics operations.
  • Oversee warehouse, inventory, transportation, and fulfillment activities.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase service levels.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment.
  • Manage relationships with freight providers, couriers, and third-party logistics (3PL) partners.
  • Ensure compliance with Australian transport, workplace health and safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) including OTIF (On Time In Full), inventory accuracy, freight costs, and warehouse productivity.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop warehouse and logistics team members.
  • Investigate operational issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with sales, procurement, customer service, and finance teams to support business objectives.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in distribution, logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management and distribution processes.
  • Experience managing third-party logistics providers and freight partners.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with ERP, WMS, or inventory management systems.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Full Australian working rights.

Pay: $43.00 – $56.00 per hour
