Full job description

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Receptionist to join our 4-star Apartment Hotel. If you enjoy working with people, solving problems, and being part of a supportive team, we would love to hear from you! As the first point of contact for our guests and residents, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth daily operations.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position No Night Shift (9 days per fortnight), including one day each weekend. We are seeking someone who can commit to the role for a minimum of 12 months.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a receptionist in a 4–5 star hotel environment and a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming guests and providing professional check-in and check-out services
  • Handling reservations, phone enquiries, and emails
  • Assisting guests with local information and special requests
  • Coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance teams
  • Processing payments and maintaining accurate records
  • Preparing cleaners' roster and linen orders
  • Ensuring reception and common areas are tidy and presentable

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience as a receptionist in a 4-5 star hotel environment
  • Friendly, professional, and well-presented
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and work independently
  • Good computer skills
  • Flexible availability (including weekends and public holidays)
  • Commitment to a minimum 12-month tenure
