About us
Curtin Heritage Living has been providing exceptional community support services within the aged care sector for over 40 years. As a not-for-profit organisation, we are dedicated to offering local, personal, and quality care to our clients and community.
The Role
As a Domestic Assistance Support Worker, you'll visit clients in their homes across Perth's Northern suburbs, helping with the everyday tasks that keep life running smoothly. This includes cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, shopping and a bit of friendly company. This isn't just a cleaning role; it's about keeping homes comfortable and clients connected to their community.
Hours that work around your life
  • Permanent part-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 3:00pm. School friendly hours, with your evenings and weekends free
  • Some casual positions also available if you're still studying and after more flexibility
Who we're looking for
You don't need formal aged care experience or qualifications to apply. If you're reliable, kind and take pride in a job well done, we'd love to hear from you. We'll teach you the rest.
You'll Bring:
  • A caring, respectful and reliable manner
  • A willingness to learn and work as part of a team
  • Good verbal communication skills to engage confidently with clients
  • A current WA driver's licence and a reliable, insured vehicle (you'll travel between clients)
What you'll need before starting:
  • National Police Clearance
  • The right to work in Australia
  • A First Aid and CPR certificate
  • If you have a Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) that would be a bonus!
What we offer:
  • Not-for-profit salary packaging - boost your take-home pay by packaging up to $15,900 tax-free, plus meal and entertainment benefits
  • Paid training and real career pathways into personal care, social support and beyond
  • Paid travel time and mileage between clients
  • A supportive local team that genuinely backs you
If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of older people, we encourage you to apply.
