ABOUT WILSON MEDIC ONE:
Wilson Medic One is experiencing rapid growth, creating the need to expand our Community Patient Transport Officer Team. We are looking for team players who are committed to providing excellent customer service by providing high-quality care and support to non-emergency community patients attending appointments across Perth. It is an opportunity to give back to the community whilst getting paid. We value our team and all our positions are paid, we do not use volunteers.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
Fixed-Term Full-Time and Casual Opportunities available until end of May 2027

Location: Perth, WA

Variety of Shifts available

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
Providing safe, non-emergency transport for eligible community patients.

Assisting patients in and out of vehicles, including wheelchair-capable transport.

Following clinical care directions from senior team members.

Communicating with our dispatch team to ensure timely responses.

Conducting vehicle checks and maintaining cleanliness, stock, and equipment.

Submitting accurate Patient Care Records and other documentation.

Reporting hazards or incidents and following safety protocols.

Upholding Wilson Medic One values and contributing to team culture.

ABOUT YOU:
You are a team player and will work towards common objectives, deadlines, and set KPIs. Your caring and compassionate nature will support your patients with empathy, care and dignity. You can work independently and within a team environment.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
Current HLTAID011 Provide First Aid certificate and HLTAID015 Provide advanced resuscitation and oxygen therapy certificate or willing to obtain prior to employment.

Hold an unrestricted C-class driver’s license and drive safely and reasonably.

Have a current WA working with children check (or willing to obtain one)

A national police clearance to be obtained prior to the commencement date and commit to renewing every three years.

This role will generally be Monday to Friday however, there may be various shifts and occasionally weekends and public holidays.

Strong work ethic and the willingness to deliver excellent patient-centric care.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Able to relate to people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.

Vaccination as per government guidelines for healthcare workers.

Physically fit to provide patient transport services.

Able to pass a drug and alcohol screening.

Previous experience within the disability, aged care or patient transport services is highly regarded but not essential.
