ACRRM seeks a Clinical Training Officer to coordinate national medical training courses with purpose, efficiency, and interstate travel.

Permanent Full-time opportunity - Brisbane Office

The Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM) is a member-based organisation that strives to set, maintain and promote high quality professional standards for Rural and Remote Medical doctors. This helps to ensure that rural and remote communities have access to safe and accessible health care.

ACRRM is seeking a Clinical Training Officer to provide exemplary service in the coordination of the College's provision of educational activities. A high degree of administration is involved in supporting clinical skills training course delivery including logistical management, venue and catering coordination, and liaison with participants, instructors and third party providers. The role requires strong attention to detail, an ability to develop and follow processes combined with the ability to quickly adapt to meet the needs of the organisation.

The successful candidate will be required to regularly travel interstate to provide the onsite administration of the courses which primarily takes place on weekends. Scheduling will be planned and coordinated in advance which supports operational and personal work life balance.

As a Clinical Training Officer, you will be an integral part of the Clinical Training Team. This busy and dynamic team is responsible for the coordination and facilitation of clinical training courses delivered nationally. The team ensures that the functions and practices are delivered in alignment with the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine's broader strategic objectives.

The team works under tight deadlines and in a changing environment so the ability to work calmly under pressure, be flexible and adaptable are key traits to ensuring the success of this department.

Key responsibilities include:
