About the role:
The role is a highly regarded position within our organisation and your role as ITC Caseworker is to deliver high quality, therapeutic casework for young people in Intensive Therapeutic Care. You’ll lead the planning, implementation, monitoring, and review of case plans to support permanency and positive outcomes for Young People and their families.
Working within a trauma informed framework, you’ll collaborate with ITC staff including Coordinators, Therapeutic Specialists, and House Managers to provide a holistic response that promotes healing and personal growth. Your approach requires a dynamic and nimble mindset to ensure needs are identified and addressed through effective strategies that foster skill development, behavioural change, and engagement in education, employment, and community life.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
A Bachelor degree in social work, youth work, community services or a relevant field.
Experience working with Young People with complex trauma and an understanding of adolescent development, trauma, attachment and resilience theory.
Proven casework skills, ideally in Out of Home Care (OOHC) or Child Protection experience in therapeutic residential care is highly regarded.
