We are growing and currently looking for a Cardiac Sonographer (Echocardiography) to join the Advara HeartCare non-invasive testing (NIT) services team, Queensland. In this role you will deliver a patient-centric echocardiogram service throughout metro and regional QLD within primary health settings, hospitals (inpatient and outpatient), radiology and cardiology outpatient clinics.
As an integral part of the National Non-Invasive Testing (NNIT) team, this is a unique and exciting opportunity. This is your chance to be at the forefront of innovation and impact in the dynamic landscape of cardiac healthcare.

What you'll do
- Offer a tertiary-level echo service in a range of clinical settings throughout metro and regional Queensland using a state-of-the-art portable and non-portable (GE) US unit and CLOUD based technology within both metro and regional settings.
- Opportunities to supervise and develop the skills of junior Echocardiographers throughout their training
- Build productive and effective working relationships with satellite partners.
- You will report directly to the Clinical Services and Resourcing Lead for echocardiography & work close with our team of cardiologists.
- You have a post graduate qualification in the field of cardiac ultrasound and current registration with Australasian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR).
- Confidently undertake best practice delivery of a wide range of echocardiography procedures in a variety of clinical settings independently.
- Be highly mobile; you'll work a hybrid of metro Brisbane clinics as well as spend some nights away in regional areas to offer a patient-centric service.
- Embrace fluidity and flexibility in your working week to optimise non-invasive testing service delivery across metro, regional and remote sites.
- Hold a current Australian drivers license.
- Flexible clinic locations located within both metro and regional QLD
