Salary package: $89,760 - $97,918 per annum plus 17% superannuation

The Position
The Admission Support Officer works under the general direction of the Admissions Coordinator. The Admission Support Officer is part of the Accredited Program Support Unit in the College of Health and Medicine, primarily supporting the admissions processes of the School of Medicine and Psychology and is accountable for ensuring that admissions policies and procedures are applied consistently with accuracy; communication and processes are undertaken in a timely manner; and high standard of professionalism is maintained.
The Person
The ideal candidate will have experience applying policy consistently and with a high attention to detail. They will have experience working with high volumes of detailed work and working closely within a team. Strong communication skills are essential. The successful candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing competing priorities independently or as part of a collaborative team. A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to identify and resolve issues effectively will be key strengths.
The School
The Accredited Program Support Unit in the College of Science and Medicine support the delivery of accredited teaching program delivered by the ANU School of Medicine and Psychology (SMP). SMP works to advance human health and wellbeing, enhancing the lives of individuals and strengthening communities, including those of Aboriginal and Torres Strait peoples, in the ACT, NSW and beyond. By integrating the disciplines of medicine and psychology we aim to unlock the secrets of health and wellbeing, develop impactful therapies, solve national and international health problems, and lead impactful social change. To do this we conduct collaborative, courageous, transformational and translational research, integrating perspectives, knowledge and techniques from multiple disciplines. We develop excellent, adaptable, resilient and innovative clinicians, academics and health care leaders of the future who work in partnership with their patients and colleagues to provide optimal care for individuals while strengthening the stem and society they work in. We partner with discovery-focused and population researchers, healthcare providers, government, commercial and not for profit organisations and communities
The College
The ANU College of Science and Medicine encompasses the disciplines of: Astronomy, Biology, Chemistry, Earth Sciences, Environment and Society, Mathematics, Physics, and Science Communication and is also home to a number of cross-disciplinary and specialist Institutes and Centres. Staff and students within the ANU College of Science and Medicine conduct research and deliver a research-led education program that encompasses the breadth of the sciences, supported by extensive international networks and by world-class facilities.
