About the role
  • $174,572.48 per annum (pro rata) + Super + ability to salary package up to $15,900 tax free for living expenses
  • Part time (0.3 FTE), permanent opportunity
  • Flexible location
Reporting to the Academic Post Program Lead, this role will lead the design, delivery and evaluation of the Academic Post Cohort Support and Education Program. They will also manage educational content, resources and stakeholder engagement, working closely with the Academic Post Program Lead, GP educators, researchers and university supervisors.

As our GP Lead - Academic Post Cohort Support and Education Program, you'll also:
  • Deliver engaging workshops, webinars and facilitated sessions for Academic Post registrars, including lectures, presentations and expert panels.
  • Analyse learning needs and evaluation data to continuously refine program activities and educational approaches.
  • Provide targeted support to university supervisors and registrars, including pastoral support and cohort engagement activities.
  • Build relationships across RACGP research and education teams, promote the program and identify opportunities for collaboration and shared initiatives.
Skills & Experience
  • RACGP Fellowship and a PhD in general practice or primary care research
  • Strong experience and expertise in general practice research
  • Experience and high-level skills in medical education and/or teaching
  • Proven experience working with and supporting GP registrars
